My acting journey actually began when I was 7 years old, playing the part of the witch in my YMCA summer camp’s production of The Princess Bride.
After graduating from college, I acted in local community theater getting parts in productions of Hairspray and To Kill A Mockingbird. On set one day while browsing on the website Backstage.com, I saw an ad for VO (Voiceover) Atlanta—and the rest, as they say, is history.
I began my initial studies with VO Atlanta where I “learned and networked and soaked up information” for all it was worth. From there, I continued to build and enhance my voiceover skills in two specific programs.
Here I was coached by Noelle Romano and Danielle Quisenberry to step up to the next level of voiceover skills. With their help, I recorded my first demos, launched my first website, and took on my first clients.
Global Voice Acting Academy (GVAA)
Working one-on-one with my coach, I attended GVAA to take the final step of launching my voiceover career. Classes included instruction in creating realistic children’s voices, commercial technique classes, and creating a commercial demo.
Currently, I live in Charlotte, NC with my Shih Tzu named Charisma. I love yoga and baking, as well as glitter and the color pink. I also love my voiceover career and hope to be the sound that’s behind the success of many clients in the years to come.
